My name is Francisco Valadares, I’m 20 years old and I was born and raised in Lisbon.

Currently, I’m in the second year of my management degree at ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon. 

Since I was a kid I have always loved the ocean and its challenges, learning to respect and understand them are just some of the things I have learned over the years.

It was when I was 10 years old that I surfed my first wave, and that brought me some of my best memories related with surfing because I realized that I can combine both things that I love the most: the ocean and the practice of a sport that I'm passionate about. Besides surfing, I also practice swimming, football, volleyball, and rugby.

Thanks to all those experiences through the years I've been acquiring important values that helped me define my personality, like respect for the others, mutual aid and also team spirit and sacrifice.

Finally, I think that this project will allow me to transmit my knowledge to others, always trying to take new opportunities for growing personally and professionally, enjoying and allowing me to do what I love: being in the ocean and surfing.
